You can likely just kill the drivers and reboot your machine to have things reinstall automatically, but anyway. If you come upon this post via Google-fu after it's archived and want to add more information to it, message me and I'll edit it in.Įdit: The other Logitech drivers to hit in USBDeview are named "000.0014.0000.005.000.000.000.000.000" on my machine with description "USB Input Device" (which is what will display in device manager). NOTE: If you're new to Logitech Gaming Software or you want to use only one profile with your mouse, first follow the steps in article null to set. To learn how to create and assign application-specific profiles, see article null. LIGHTSYNC will blast light to match in-game explosions, approaching enemies, damage taken, healing done, new worlds visited, and much more. Killing all of the 046d-branded drivers did it for me. Logitech Gaming Software enables you to program different button configurations for each profile on your computer. LIGHTSYNC technology immerses you into the action with automatic, game-driven lighting effects that react to many popular games. I have a touchscreen, so I had an alternative pointing device during the installation process, but you may have to sweat it out/use a second mouse to do the installation/etc. This fixed my issue and now my mouse is showing up in Game Hub as well as LGS. Uninstall all of the Logitech drivers that show up in USBDeview while your mouse is plugged in and then run the Logitech Game Software installer. Additionally, I noticed a few other Logitech devices based on vendor ID (046d). If you go through all of the steps and find yourself tearing your hair out, I found out via USBDeview that the mouse likes to brand itself a "USB Composite Device" that does not allow for manually specifying the driver. If your mouse isn't showing up in logitech gaming software, you go into your 'mice and other input devices' and disable the generic HID-compliant mice, find your Logitech mouse, disable it, think "Ah hah! Now I can manually specify the driver under C:\program files\logitech gaming software\Drivers\LGSHidFilter\LGSFMOUHID.inf and that will fix it!"
